MIGRAINE is a kind of head-ache, more specific in one area of the head.  It is commonly accompanied by vomiting, and sensitivity to light and sound.  It remains for hours and even days sometimes.  The source is not exactly known, though may be hereditary.  Environmental factors too may cause Migraine. The pain is described as throbbing.

Generally pills are taken, though it takes hours to get rid of the pain.  Self-help remedies and a change in one's lifestyle goes a long way in curing the disease.  Let us see, how Nasal cleansing helps Migraine.

Yoga not only includes Meditation Asanas, Pranayama and Relaxation, but it also includes internal cleansing kriyas.  It is described in Hatha yoga.  This Nasal cleansing is highly beneficial in physiological changes in body, mind and personality too.

THINGS required for Nasal cleansing includes a Nethi Pot, which is available in specific shops, Luke warm water and salt.  Water::Salt proportion is 1 heaped spoon of salt for a liter of water[warm].  You must taste the salt but at the same time it should not be too salty.

WHEN it should be practiced?
It is advisable to perform   in the morning, before the Sun-rise at 6 to 6.30 a.m.  in EMPTY STOMACH.  It can be done as frequently as you brush your teeth.  As a therapy it is also performed twice a day, once in the morning and another in the evening.  At least try it once in a week.

HOW to perform?
Stand at ease,  keeping the legs a little bit away from each other, head slightly slanting.
Keep the pot's edge on the Nasal Path, see that it blocks the path so that water does not come through the same  nostril. Pour the water slowly, open your mouth and breathe through the mouth,  and see the water coming through the other Nostril.  In the same manner, try with the other Nostril.

A thin layer of mucus in our nasal path is the first line of disease against various diseases.  Nasal cleansing helps in keeping the layer moist, clean and healthy.  It also cleanse the air-passages in the head region.

IF AND ONLY IF there exists any block in the Nasal Path free flow of water will not be there.  Otherwise it will be very simple and very easy.  You need not be afraid whether the water enters the head region.  As soon as we perform Nasal cleansing, we practice alternate nostril kabalabati and also the Normal KABALABATI so that the nasal path gets cleared and the mucus comes out of our Nose and sometimes through mouth too.

THOUGH it looks as if it is concerned with cleaning the Nasal path alone, its benefits are much more.  The sinusitis blocks are removed in the face and the head region.
Bronchitis and Asthma problems are getting cured gradually.
Feeling like breathing-through-mouth- problems are solved, mucus blocks are cleared.
Excess heat in the body is removed resulting in curing MIGRAINE, HYSTERIA, MENTAL TENSION AND DEPRESSION .
Salted water helps in cleansing the bacteria - affected nasal path.

ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTION affects breathing.
We ourselves does not breathe to the full capacity of our lungs.  Our breathing is incomplete if we do not inhale to our lung capacity and exhale  completely.
By the result we are affected by various diseases related to respiratory organs.
This NASAL CLEANSING  is an excellent remedial measure.  PRACTICE at least for a minimum of 6 months and see the result.

TRY NASAL CLEANSING AND GET RID OF VARIOUS RESPIRATORY DISORDERS.
